How to clear registry entry in your Distributed File system that would prevent you from adding DFS functionality into your system
During installation some of the changes in registry might not be removed and stays in your registry that subsequently prevent you from creating your DFs.
Step 1
To help to correct this, try using the following command
dfsutil /clean: servername
