How to start and stop services
When you’re running your system, you might need to start and stop certain process that might slow your system down or when you’re trying to uninstalled certain program from your system.
Step 1
To access the services function, all you need to do is goto Start and select Programs, choose Administrative Tools and click on Services. The screen layout for this function is shown below:
Step 2
To start a particular process all you need to do is double click on the services listed on the screen. For example to stop IIS Admin services, double click on IIS Admin and a dialog box will appear as shown below:
Step 3
Click on Stop to stop the services.
Be careful when you’re trying to stop a service because it might be crucial for your server to function correctly.
