What is the performancedifference in Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Professional

Windows 2000 Server give more priority to processes running at the background while Windows 2000 Professional give priority to applications.

Step 1

You can define these changes by right clicking on the My Computer and then choose Properties. A new window will appear as shown below :

Go to Performance tab and click on Performance Options

Then a new dialog box will appear as shown below:

By setting the option to Application you will be able to take advantage of Windows 2000 performance flexibility.
